Within ParcVu, you can have multiple Email Accounts to enable you to choose which email address your customers receive emails from. There are two places Email Accounts must be configured

You can choose to use either SMTP or OAuth as your authentication method for sending emails from ParcVu

❗Microsoft are ending support for basic SMTP authentication no later than December 2026 - your specific support may end sooner. We recommend switching to OAuth as soon as possible to prevent issues sending emails from ParcVu❗

Setting Park Email Accounts in ParcVu Desktop

To access these settings, the user will need the permissions Allow System Maintenance Menu and Can Maintain Email Accounts

You must have one Email Account set as your HO Default, and one Email Account per Park set as Default

Go to System Maintenance Sub Menu > Maintain Lookups > Email Account. Click ‘Edit’ from the navigation menu, and select the Park you’d like to assign Email Accounts to

In the top section, click into the top empty line

  • Select the Email Account you want to add to the selected Park from the ‘Account’ picklist

  • Select the Account Type - this will usually be None, unless you want to use this Email Account purely for Prospects

  • If this is the Default Account for the selected Park, tick ‘Default’ - note you should only have one Default Account per Park

Selecting Email Accounts When Sending Emails in ParcVu Desktop

Where there is a choice on who the email can be sent 'from', an email selector dropdown is shown to allow the selection of the account that the email will be sent from.

Where there is a choice of Email Accounts available;

Park Users will be prompted to select from email addresses associated to their Park(s). The default will be the Email Account set as Default

Head Office Users will be prompted to select from email addresses associated to Head Office (HO). In addition, they will also have access to any Park email addresses for the Park(s) associated to their user account
